DESCRIPTION:MAY BELLS RING AND VOICES SING IN CASTLECONNELL. \nIn early April\, Reverend Paul Fitzpatrick\, was contacted by the renowned Davidson Methodist Church Choir and Handbells from North Carolina\, USA\, to find out if it might be possible for the 50 strong choir to perform\, free of charge\, in Castleconnell on Tuesday\, the 30th of May at 7:30 pm to raise funds for a chosen charity.\nReverend Paul\, Father Tom Whelan and Leslie Hartigan decided that this ecumenical event would take place in Saint Joseph’s Church and a retiring collection would be donated in its entirety for the Turkey\, Syrian Earthquake appeal. This promises to be a wonderful opportunity to hear a world-class choir perform locally while raising funds by a retiring collection\, for a most worthy cause.\n“”This performance is sure to be a really memorable experience for everyone in attendance and we are thrilled to be able to support the appeal through this event\,” said Father Tom.
