DESCRIPTION:Rowel Friers\, a young Northern Irish pianist\, began his musical journey remarkably early. Starting piano lessons at five\, he quickly displayed his talent\, giving his first public performance that year. \nThroughout his burgeoning career\, Friers has achieved significant success in both national and international competitions. He debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2017 and recently earned accolades at the 2022 Dublin International Piano Competition. \nFurther highlights include winning the Audience Prize at the 2023 Madrid International Piano Competition and being named Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the Year 2023. His concerto debut with the RTE Concert Orchestra garnered a standing ovation. \nCurrently pursuing his Bachelor of Music at the Royal Irish Academy of Music\, Friers’s future in music shines brightly.
