DESCRIPTION:Castleconnell Boat Club is delighted to announce that our annual ‘Head of the River’ time trial will be on the 26th of October 2024. Taking place on the picturesque section of the River Shannon between Castleconnell\, Limerick\, and O’Briensbridge\, Clare. This promises to be a huge and exciting day of racing.  \nThis year we are especially proud to announce some new race categories such as ‘Inclusive Row’ and ‘Women’s Para Row’. It is going to be an exciting event as we will have over 500+ rowers ranging in ages from 13 to 80. On the day there will be an onsite shop and entertainment section. The races will be timed using the Race Locker system.
