SUMMARY:Book Launch
DESCRIPTION:Delighted to have Brian Leahy’s Book Launch at Bradshaws on Friday 18th of September at 8pm *More than 200 years ago\, a bitter feud\, a savage satire and a very public disgrace embroiled some of Limerick’s most prominent families.\nAt the centre of the controversy were two Castleconnell natives\, an earl in waiting and a chain of extraordinary events that would ultimately help pave the way for the building of Adare Manor.\nFor over two centuries\, the full story remained hidden.\nJoin us for the launch of a new book that uncovers this remarkable chapter of Limerick history and brings to light a forgotten scandal from the years 1815-1820.
