Castleconnell Sprints Regatta

Castleconnell Boat Club will hold its annual Sprints Regatta on Saturday, May 20. Racing will take place at Worlds End for the vast majority of the day.
The community is warmly invited to join us! We will cheer on our own rowers and meet up with pals from other boat clubs, it’s great craic. Our fantastic volunteers will be manning all areas of the operation, including the canteen/bbq/coffee-and-tea station. Come down and see what we get up to—you just might see our next national champions in action!
Please note that the road along that stretch of the Shannon from the boat club to Charcos will be closed from very early morning on the 20th until racing ends, only trucks with trailers and residents will be allowed to pass by. We will be doing our level best to ensure visitors treat our village with the respect we treat their’s when we visit, particularly in terms of parking appropriately.
